Veritas Collegiate Academy has a rigorous academic program that is based upon the wisdom of Scripture and is founded in the Trivium. Our mission is to train students to think clearly and to listen with careful discernment, resulting in understanding and the ability to reason persuasively and articulate eloquently. Veritas partners with parents to grow the whole student into excellence so they may impact the world for Christ.
In the Grammar stage – the developmental building block of all learning – elementary aged students are eager to learn and absorb information. They enjoy memorizing, chant, song, and rhyme, so these are the methods we use to fill them with information in ways that are memorable, fun, encouraging, and engaging.
In the Logic stage of the middle school years, students have begun to question “why.” They are analyzing the world around them and developing their ability to reason and discern truth. The formal logic skills we teach during this stage empower students to argue well while they learn to understand the world around them and their place in it.
The Center For Global Leadership Studies is housed in the historic landmark Pembroke Manor and is preparing the next generation of Veritas students for leadership nationally and globally. It offers a series of courses designed for 7th through 12th graders taught by certified teachers and experts in their field at the appropriate grade level.
